All rumors in relation to a possible transfer from Arsenal have been ruled out by Togo International, Emmanuel Adebayor. The striker has also revealed that he even has signed a fresh contract with the London Club.
24-year old star from Togo made way to join Gunners during the 2006 winter transfers and since then, he has led more than a helping hand, which prompted interest from AC Milan & Barcelona in the player.
However, Adebayor has decided to continue with the team of Arsene Wenger and revealed to the official website of the club that he is sure about his future with the club and will be signing fresh contract at Emirates Stadium.
According to him, his stay with the club has been excellent and wherever he stays during the off season, his hearts stays at Arsenal. Henceforth, he does not have any desire of leaving the club in the near future.
However, he was very upset with media of spreading the rumors in relation to the possible move and his interest. He said that he never gave even a hint of leaving his current club. There are three years still left in his contract and he wants tenure of similar duration at the club. He feels that his family in Arsenal is the primary factor for his decision.
Adebayor even confirmed that his coach, Arsene Wenger, knew about his views from the beginning and always told him to concentrate more on his game play than rumors, as they are a part of being a top player in the world.
Now with Adebayor staying at Emirates and with Persie & Fabregas in top form, Arsenal attack will be tough on any defense.
